In a rural context defined by restrained and repetitive geometries, the extension does not seek distinction through form, but through its essence. The existing volume is reproduced exactly: it has the same width, the same height, the same roof pitch, but reversed. However, where the original is solid and opaque masonry, the new volume is entirely glazed.
The space between the two becomes the project itself.

A negative copy
The strategy is radical in its simplicity: reproduce the existing building without imitating it. The same proportions, the same silhouette, but expressed through a glass curtain wall façade. The extension engages with its neighbour through resemblance, while distinguishing itself through transparency.
Two buildings, one single composition.
Pharmacy green defines entry
The residual space between the two volumes—inevitable, potentially ordinary—becomes the generating element. Clad in green-tinted glass, it transforms the pharmacy’s green cross into an architectural scale. The professional symbol becomes the façade. The entrance announces itself without unnecessary signage.
Rurality and elegance
The pitched roof settles effortlessly into the surrounding village fabric. It is precisely this formal restraint that makes the gesture legible: nothing is added beyond what is necessary.
At night, the building glows from within like a lantern in the village acting as a quiet landmark along the road.
