Perched on the heights of Durbuy, the house settles discreetly into the slope and opens widely towards the valley. The project explores a continuous relationship between ground and horizon: an upper level suspended above the landscape by an access walkway, and living spaces anchored into the terrain, directly connected to the garden and pool.
Carefully carved voids within the structure bring daylight deep into the interior, creating a changing atmosphere where the architecture remains in constant dialogue with the sky and the surrounding terrain.

Suspended arrival
A lightweight walkway introduces the upper volume by lifting it away from the ground, transforming the approach into a gradual transition towards the landscape.
Guiding light
Vertical openings and structural voids guide natural light deep into the heart of the house, revealing the spaces throughout the day.
Living on sloped land
The living spaces are embedded within the terrain and open directly onto the garden, strengthening an immediate relationship between architecture and landscape.
